Work Experience
Work Experience allows you to put theory into practice, you immediately start to use the customer service skills and job skills you learned during the job training phase of the program.
Each participant meets with a Work Experience Coordinator to develop an internship plan and identify occupations of interest to the youth participant. Each participant will complete 200 hours of work experience in a local business or non-profit organization.
Work Experience is comprised of the following major components:
- Register on I-Match
- National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
- Rethinking Careers Training
- Work Experience Internship (200 hours paid)
